‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, Mar. 11, 2016–Hans Peter Minderhoud rode Glock’s Flirt to victory in the World Cup Grand Prix Friday with Spain’s European Championship individual bronze medal pair of Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Delgado runner-up.
Hans Peter rode the 15-year-old Swiss Warmblood stallion to a score of 76.480per cent for the win in the last of nine World Cup Western European League events to qualify for the Final of the annual Freestyle championship in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Dutch rider is ranked high enough to be assured of an invitation to the Final.
Beatriz and her 15-year-old Westfalen gelding placed second on 76.000 per cent with the Netherlands’ Diederik van Silfhout on Arlando in third on 75.760 per cent.
Sweden’s Juliette Ramel on Buriel K.H. took the CDI4* Grand Prix on a score of 73.940 for their third straight win since starting international Grand Prix two months ago.
Spain’s Beatriz Ferrer-Salat on Sir Radjah placed second on 72.020 per cent with Diederik van Silfhout of the Netherlands on Bonzanjo third on 71.320 per cent.
