DEL MAR, California, Mar. 13, 2016–Günter Seidel rode Zero Gravity to victory in the Grand Prix Special at the Dressage Affaire CDI3* Sunday, only the second Special for the pair in the second year at Grand Prix and just a week before heading to the World Cup Final.
Günter and the 12-year-old KWPN gelding scored 73.471 per cent for the win, the second this year having won the World Cup Freestyle in Burbank, California two weeks ago that clinched selection for the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden next week.
Kathleen Raine of Rancho Murieta, California and Zuperman placed second on 68.176 per cent in the first international Grand Prix competition for the 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. Owner Leona Felice Pollack of Snohomish, Washington competed Zuperman through national levels beginning in 2008. Kathleen rode the horse at Small Tour to Int. 2 before the owner competed Zuperman at Grand Prix last year.
Mette Rosencrantz of Topanga, California and Marron was third on 67.020 per cent.
