STADL PAURA, Austria, Mar. 26, 2016–German Olympian Dorothee Schneider on UllricheEquine’s St Emilion won the CDI3* Grand Prix Saturday while Victoria Max-Theurer was runner-up on Della Cavalleria OLD in the horse’s Big Tour debut.
Dorothee and the 11-year-old Westfalen gelding scored 73.220 per cent in the first competition of the year for the seventh win for St Emilion since beginning Grand Prix in mid-2014.
Victoria, Austria’s top rider, and Della Cavalleria, a 13-year-old Oldenburg mare, were awarded 71.420 per cent. Germany’s Bernadette Brune on Lights of Londonderry placed third on 70.980 per cent.
