Dutta Corp. Sponsors USA Dressage Team in Expanded Support of American Horse Sports

WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar. 29, 2016–The Dutta Corp., a leading global horse transportation company, has become an official sponsor of the United States dressage team expanding its already extensive support of American high performance horse sports.


The U.S. Equestrian Federation on Tuesday announced the expanded partnership with The Dutta Corp. as sponsor of the American dressage team in addition to being:


–Official shipper for the U.S. dressage and eventing teams;

–Title sponsor of the Tim Dutta Grand Prix Dressage Ranking List;

–Title sponsor of the Tim Dutta Intermediaire I Dressage Ranking List;

–Title sponsor of The Dutta Corp. Fair Hill International Festival in the Country;

–Title sponsor of The Dutta Corp./USEF Two-Star Eventing National Championship, and

–Title sponsor of The Dutta Corp./USEF Three-Star Eventing National Championship.


“The Dutta Corporation has been an outstanding partner as the official shipper for the U.S. dressage and eventing teams,” said Bill Moroney, USEF Interim CEO. “The Dutta Corp.'s commitment to not only continue the partnership, but to expand its support to the U.S. dressage team and several competitions, as well, is not only great news for those events, but for all fans of equestrian sports.”


The Dutta Corp. will provide international travel for three dressage horses and one eventing horse each year for 2016 through 2018 in addition to sponsorship.


Tim Dutta founded The Dutta Corp. 25 years ago and has become a global leader in shipping dressage, eventing and jumping horses as well as polo ponies to 16 countries worldwide every week.


As well as the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro this summer, the Dutta Corp. will handle shipping for the World Cup Final in Omaha, Nebraska next year, the World Games in Bromont, Canada in 2018 and the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020. The company is also the official shipper for the Winter Equestrian Festival and the Global Dressage Festival in Wellington.


“I'm happy to support the American team,” Tim said. “I believe in the dream of Robert Dover, the technical advisor and chef d'equipe. The results show my belief is correct.


“We have very good horses and riders and we're ready to explode. The team needs all the support we can provide.”


In the past two years, Tim has resumed playing polo, forming a team to compete alongside his teenage son, Timmie, who has become an outstanding youth player on the highly competitive Florida circuit. His wife, Susan, is an American team dressage rider.


“At the end of the day my heart still belongs to dressage. I love the sport and the people and this is my way of giving back.”
