The United States Dutta Corp. team was named Monday for the CDIO5* Nations Cup and individuals for the CDI3* in the last of the Olympic selection events at Rotterdam June 22-26.
The four riders and horses named by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to the Nations Cup team are:
Shelly Francis, 57, of Loxahatchee, Florida and Doktor, 13-year-old Oldenbur gelding (Diamond Hit x Renoir I) owned by Patricia Stempel. World Ranking: 50
Laura Graves, 28 years old of Plymouth, Florida and Verdades, her 14-year-old KWPN gelding (Florett AS x Goya). WR 13
Kasey Perry Glass, 28 years old of Wellington, Florida and Dublet, 13-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding (Diamond Hit x Olympic Ferro) owned by Diane Perry. WR: 24
Steffen Peters and Legolas, 14-year-old Westfalen gelding (Laomedon x Florestan II) owned by Four Winds Farm. WR: 7
Named to compete in the CDI3*:
Allison Brock, 36, of Wellington, Florida and Rosevelt, 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion (Rotspon x Lauries Crusador XX) owned by Claudine and Fritz Kundrun. WR: 34
Shelly Francis and Danilo, 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding (De Niro x Andiamo) owned by Patricia Stempel. WR: 66
Steffen Peters, 51, of San Diego, California and Rosamunde, nine-year-old Rhinelander mare (Rock Forever x Fidermark) owned by Four Winds Farm. WR: 17
Günter Seidel, 55, of Cardiff, California and Zero Gravity, 12-year-old KWPN gelding (Royal Hit x Contango) owned by James and Charlotte Mashburn. WR: 51
Arlene Page, 59, of Wellington, Florida and Woodstock, her 13-year-old KWPN gelding (Havel x Contango). WR: 49
Rotterdam is the final of three designated observation events to decide the Olympic team. Previous events were the CDIO5*/CDI3* at Compiègne, France May 19-22, where the United States won the Nations Cup, and the CDI4* at Roosendaal, Netherlands June 1-5.
