A total of 155 entries from 25 nations have been nominated for dressage at the Olympic Games, according to the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) that released the list 45 days for the start in Rio de Janeiro on Aug. 5.
The final starting lineup in Rio will be cut to 60 dressage combinations, 10 more than the previous Olympics in London.
The FEI said its nominated entries list was compiled based on information submitted by the National Federations by June 20–a total of 200 combinations–75 in jumping, 65 in eventing as well as the 60 in dressage.

Equestrian action gets underway with the eventing horse inspection on Aug. 5, the same day as the Olympic Opening Ceremony, and competitions in the three disciplines will be staged over 12 days with six sets of medals up for grabs.
For dressage there will be gold, silver and bronze medals for both team and individual competitions.
