Luxembourg's Sascha Schulz & Wito Corleone Post 1st Victory to Win Brno CDI3* Grand Prix

BRNO, Czech Republic, June 17, 2016–Luxembourg's Sascha Schulz on Wito Corleone logged a personal best score to post the pair's first victory by winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday while Brazil's Almeida family filled the next four places in their European campaign to earn places on their Olympic host nation's team.


Sascha and the 17-year-old Hanoverian gelding he has been competing for the past two years scored 69.780 per cent for the win.


Brazil's Pedro Tavares de Almeida on Xaparro do Vouga was second on 67.760 per cent, his sister Luiza, a two-time Olympian was third on Vendaval with 67.180 per cent, Pedro filled the fourth place on Aoleo with 66.740 per cent and his twin brother Manuel on Vinheste was third with 66.340 per cent.
