DEVON, Pennsylvania, Sept. 29, 2016–Giuliano B, ridden by American-based Swedish rider Karin Persson won the five-year-old final Thursday while Silva Martin on Jada W was reserve as well as taking the four-year-old test on Electric.
Karin, based at Bedford, New York, and the KWPN gelding scored 82.000 per cent. The horse was reserve champion at the U.S. Young Horse championships a month ago.
Silva of nearby Cochranville was second on Jada W, an Australian-bred mare, on 81.200 per cent.
Silva, born in Germany but living in Australia when she met her husband, event rider Boyd Martin, before moving to the United States and becoming an American, won the four-year-old test on the Oldenburg gelding Electric on 79.400 per cent.
