DARMSTADT, Germany, Sept. 22, 2016–Sanneke Rothenberger on Wolke Sieben, her 2012 European Young RiderChampionship German team gold medal mare, won the CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday.
Sanneke and the 17-year-old Hanoverian mare scored 71.800 per cent for the win over win over fellow German Jenny Lang-Nobbe on Loverboy with the same score. The tie was broken by higher collective marks for the 23-year-old Sanneke and Wolke Sieben.
Mads Hendeliowitz and Jimmie Choo Seq, on Sweden's Olympic team in Rio de Janeiro last month, were third on 71.660 per cent.
