SAUGERTIES, New York, Aug. 19, 2016–Ashley Holzer rode Breaking Dawn, her 2012 Olympic mount for Canada, to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix, only the second competition for the pair in three years.
Ashley, based in New York City, and the 15-year-old KWPN gelding scored 72.560 per cent with her student, fellow Canadian Brittany Fraser rode All In to a personal best 69.720 per cent with Christian Garweg on De Lorean third on 63.400 per cent.
Breaking Dawn was ridden by owner P.J. Rizvi through 2014 until early this year.
