MUNICH, Germany, May 8, 2016–Dorothee Schneider and Showtime in their first Big Tour Freestyle won the Pferd International CDI5* Grand Prix musical performance Sunday, two days after posting a personal best score to capture the Grand Prix.
Dorothee, who competed for Germany at the 2012 Olympic Games, and the 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Sandro Hit x Rotspon) scored 84.300 per cent for the Freestyle victory.
The score was the second highest Freestyle mark in the world so far this year, surpassed by a mark of 84.600 per cent for Isabell Werth and Weihegold OLD at Neumünster, Germany in February.
Dorothee and Showtime began Big Tour in June last year,
Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on Zaire placed second on 77.250 per cent with Jan-Dirk Giesselmann on Real Dancer FRH in third on 75.150 per cent for a German sweep of the top three spots.
