RUILA, Estonia, July 16, 2016–Hanna Karasiova on Arlekino won the Baltic Summer Cup World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to move the Belarus combination to the top of the Central European League.


Hanna and the 10-year-old Latvian gelding scored 73.225 per cent a day after taking the Grand Prix in the first Big Tour double victory for the pair in the fifth of 13 World Cup events to win the league's single starting place at the Final in Omaha, Nebraska next March.


Estonia's Dina Ellermann on Landy's Akvarel was second on 71.225 per cent and Per Duvefelt of Sweden on Edvin was third on 68.525 per cent.


The win for Hanna and the 20 points it earned added to two second place finishes and the pair now have a total of 54 points, ahead of Russia's Inessa Merkulova who has two victories on her Mister X that she is taking to the Olympics.
