Wendi Williamson on Dejavu MH Win New Zealand CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle

FEILDING, New Zealand, Feb. 6, 2016-Wendi Williamson on Dejavu MH celebrated their first international show with a victory in the New Zealand Championship CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday.


Wendi and the 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 71.20 per cent to finish atop the field of six starting combinations, all New Zealanders.


John Thompson on JHT Antonello was second on 70.775 per cent while Julie Brougham on Vom Feinsten, the favorites coming into this show, were third on 68.80 pet cent.


Juloie and Von Feinsten, leading the individual Olympic rankings for Oceania/Southeast Asia, won the Grand Prix while John Thompson and Antonello took the Grand Prix Special.
