Paula Ward, named Equestrian Australia Chief Executive Officer
SYDNEY, Nov. 30, 2015–Paula Ward, an experienced sports executive and active participant, has been appointed Equestrian Australia Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment of Paula, former CEO of the Judo Federation of Australia and founder of Know The Game organization that educates on the fundamentals of sports, was announced by the EA board Monday.
She will take up the post in January, succeeding Grant Baldock, a former surfing official, who left earlier this month after five years as CEO.
Paula, a psychologist with 20 years experience, is also a non-executive director of the Rugby Club , Sydney and of the Australian Womensport & Recreation Association.
She learned to ride as a teenager at Pony Club.
