Would You Send Your Child To Gym With No Shoes?

I hope. your answer is no. If so, then why do I see horses showing in all levels without shoes?
It doesn't make sense to me because it seems to be common sense that if you wear shoes to work then don't be cheap by not putting them on your horse.
